REVV X Hanbitco AMA Summary
2021 June 08 (Tue) 18:00(KST), A summary of the REVV AMA held in the Hanbitco Official Telegram Room will be provided.
Q1. For today’s AMA, we have invited REVV Head of Live Operations, Tanja Sammatti! Before the AMA, could you please provide a brief introduction?
Hi everyone, my name is Tanja and I lead the live operations for REVV and some other Animoca Brands products. I am a blockchain enthusiast and a big believer in the importance of digital property rights. It is my pleasure to be here today to tell you more about what we are building.
Q2. We are very pleased to meet you Tanja. We truly thank you for joining as the Speaker for REVV for the Hanbitco AMA. Then I will start basic questions first. Can you provide a brief introduction to REVV?
REVV is the main utility token and in-game currency of the branded motorsports games produced by Animoca Brands, including F1® Delta Time, MotoGP™ Ingition, Formula E and the upcoming REVV Motorsport game experience and metaverse. REVV is being leveraged as a cross-title utility, and the driving force behind the ecosystem’s Play-to-Earn model.
Q3. What is your project’s business model?
REVV is a utility, and we look to provide utility for REVV through our game ecosystem. Primarily, we offer that utility through NFTs. For example, REVV is required to obtain NFTs in F1 Delta Time, and also needed to participate in any of the game modes. Soon, this will also be the case for MotoGP Ignition and for all REVV Motorsport titles, including the REVV Motorsport game itself. The more NFTs that exist within this metaverse and ecosystem, more they create the utility and value of REVV, and all of the NFTs which exist within the wider platform.
Q4. Were there any major milestones for REVV this year?
Yes, REVV has been listed to many exchanges during this year, you can view full list of the marketplaces here: https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/revv Also we launched the firsts two pack sales for our second title, MotoGP™ Ignition and two sales for F1 Delta Time Event segments, these are NFTs that provide rewards to their owner when ever players race on them. All of these sales were sold out in matter of minutes or hours and overall F1 Delta Time platform has seen many exciting events and improvements. Additionally we have over doubled our following in social media over the past few months.
Q5. (Pre-Question) Animoca Brands has developed a portfolio of well-known projects, and I’m curious as to the motivation and ultimate goal of starting this business.
While we have been a game developer and publisher for many years, we believe digital property rights is the next big thing and this inspired us to get into the blockchain gaming.
To elaborate, there is currently approximately over 2.4 billion gamers in the world and most of them hold some kind of digital property, whether it is coins or for example a special sword in the game. However, in reality, none of the gamers own any of the assets they have and the time spent in gaming is not compensated in any way. In fact all of these items are owned by the game company and they both control your ability to trade your assets, often stopping it completely and also they could anyday decide to shut down the game, meaning you would lose everything you worked hard for.
We believe that this is going to change, as blockchain makes it possible for you to really own the items online and to earn from the time and effort you put in the games. REVV is a utility token that supports our Motorsport gaming system and our players truly own the items they have in the games, like cars and drivers and they are also able to earn from the gameplay. There is also different kinds of passive earning models, such as staking, where you will basically rent your items to earn from them and you can freely trade your assets. We believe that once gamers see this can be the reality, it will also become the expectation.
Q6. (Pre-Question) Recently, many blockchain platforms are supporting crosschain, so is REVV planning to support various chains as well as ERC20?
Yes, while REVV is currently in the Ethereum chain and will remain supported as it is, we are also building bridges to other chains, like Flow.
Q7. (Pre-Question) I have a lot of interest in racing games. What should I prepare to earn items?
Currently you can play our F1 DeltaTime racing title, to do this, you will need car, driver and set of tyres. You will also need digital wallet, like Metamask to hold your items and some crypto currency like REVV and ETH to make purchases. Our REVV Motorsport game is coming out soon too and entry requirements will be different. We are also planning different earning events, like this week you can actually earn REVV NFTs by playing F1 Delta Time.

Q8. (Pre-Question) If you look at REVV’s Delta Time game, users can buy and play car accessories, so you can even consider these items as NFT-limited items, But since it related to money, it is natural think consider on aspects such as security. I’d like to ask you what security services you’re using for this.
We make sure that any of the core value contracts (like REVV itself, the F1DT contract, staking, etc…) are audited for starters. Due to how we’ve developed as a company, we’ve been able to create numerous partnerships, and build an incredible network of experts in the space that we operate, too. This allows us to ensure best practices, and that we’re cooperating with the best on how to implement new technologies.
Q9. (Pre-Question) What is the ultimate goal of REVV?
Our short term goals are focused around building the gaming platform, introducing new features and especially improvements to make it easier to onboard new users with no blockchain experience. In long term we want to encourage blockchain mass adoption and we believe gamers and crypto enthusiasts will be the first ones to realise the full potential of this technology.
The long term goal is the REVV Motorsport metaverse, where we pull in and connect the pillar experiences like MotoGP Ignition, F1 Delta Time, and both licensed and original content, creating a multi-IP, arcade-simulation experience, with Play-to-Earn tournaments, and UGC.
Q10. (Live-Question) Why did you choose collaboration with Hanbitco?
Korean market is very interesting to us, as Korea is often leader in new technology and Korean users are often ready to adopt such new technology earlier than many other markets might be. Hanbitco has a good reputation and userbase, so it makes sense for us to partner with strong partner like this. We believe Hanbitco users have the right mindset to understand the value of REVV.
Q11. (Live-Question) Please tell us how players can utilize the REVV tokens they have earned through gameplay. How can they cash out?
REVV can be used to either purchase more in game items or racing tries, in the future it can also be used in the other game titles across this gaming platform. Q12. (Live-Question) What are your plans to place for global adoption and expansion?
REVV is definitely a global product and we already have very international player audience across many continents. However, it is still early days and going forward we are looking to add more and more localized services, such as localizing our websites to more languages, adding support in different languages, running our events and sales in different time zones and also doing country focused campaigns, such as the one we have here with Hanbitco.
Q13. (Live-Question) Looking at the history of REVV, it has a long and powerful history. What criteria are important when deciding on a partnership?
Yes, as you mention we have long history of working with powerful brands and partnerships. When choosing partnerships there is many things to consider. Sometimes we are looking for innovation and partners who are not afraid to try new things for example. Sometimes we are looking for partners who have the right userbase to fit our product or a message that we believe in. There is no one right recipe and we are always looking how to grow and do things better and who might be good partner for that journey.
Q14. (Live-Question) Can you list 1–3 killer features of REVV that makes it ahead of its competitors? What is the competitive advantage your platform has that you feel most confident about?
Great question, I would like to highlight these:
1. REVV Token has already existing utility as the in game currency for F1 Delta Time and clear roadmap on how the utility will grow with the other game titles.
2. Our team is experienced in making games, in fact we have previously been chosen one of the top mobile game developers in the world (https://www.animocabrands.com/animoca-brands-top-50-developers) so we know how to build exciting games.
3. We hold the licences for top brands, such as Formula 1, MotoGP, Formula E and many more to come. These brands all have large fanbases which will help user adoption and growth of the platform.
And as a bonus point, we have solid foundation, in fact we recently completed a capital raise of $88,888,888 and received officially status of a Unicorn company (non public company worth over $1 billion). So there is many strong points to show why we can feel very confident! :)
